Prior to joining Singh Lamarche LLP, Angela practiced at a boutique labour and employment law firm, which included a long-term secondment as in-house counsel for an Ontario police service. As counsel for a large and complex police service, Angela worked in a fast-paced environment, and addressed a variety of sensitive and high-profile issues, on a daily basis. In that role, Angela gained expertise and advised on a range of issues that workplaces and their employees regularly face including labour relations, employment standards, discipline and dismissal, human rights, corporate governance, occupational health and safety, privacy, workplace investigations, and grievance arbitrations.
Through her multifaceted experience, Angela has developed a unique understanding of the workplace. As such, she assists both employers and employees in all aspects of the employment relationship from the initial agreement to dismissal, to an ultimate resolution in her client’s favour.
Angela focuses on understanding a client’s perspective and goals in order to provide tailored solutions. She is committed to advocating on behalf of her clients, whether through negotiation or litigation, to resolve issues in creative and practical ways.
