Logical. Committed. People focused.
For Stefan, employment law is the perfect fit—with a human focused approach, anchored in a deep understanding of social justice issues, it allows him to connect with people and organizations, resolve intricate issues and put his business background to work.
At Singh Lamarche, Stefan delivers practical and tailored solutions for both employees and employers. He provides advice on all issues that arise in employment relationships—from contemplation, to cessation and everything between. He also conducts workplace investigations and training for all types of organizations. Stefan is particularly skilled at assessing, weighing the benefits and risks, and making informed decisions. His ability to take in the full scope of the dispute, the motivations driving both parties’ actions, and his strong desire to help means Stefan’s clients trust him with their most significant and complex challenges.
Stefan has widespread litigation experience. He has appeared before and/or prepared for appearances at all levels of court and tribunals in Ontario, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, Small Claims Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal. Stefan has experience in all aspects of the litigation process, up to and including trials and appeals.
When Stefan isn’t practicing law, you can find him playing leisure sports (picture a park and bocce ball, in addition to enjoying squash, soccer, basketball and running). He lived in Buenos Aires for a period of time and it’s now one of his favourite travel destinations. His perfect day involves the morning paper over a cup of coffee, reading a good book and playing some kind of sport.
